Ramblings and babblings and best of all... hot women. - Claudia/Leena Fanfics - My Other Fanfics - |
A/N: Well hello! We’re on to episode five; No Pain No Gain in the ‘She’s…’ series. Thanks to steampunkangel for beta’ing. Also this fic coincides with Race’s follow up comment!fic for the same episode, so they’re kinda happening simultaneously. I hope she doesn’t mind ;)
Summary: Claudia comes home from ‘lunch’ with Mrs. Frederic and feels a little shaken.
oxoxoxoxo
It seemed nearly everyone was shaken up from their respective missions. Myka and Pete were very quiet, insisting that they didn’t need dinner. That was weird enough on its own, but coupled with Artie and Steve’s ‘hush-hush’ behavior and Claudia’s glazed, distracted eyes, Leena had to wonder what the hell was going on.

A/N: Welcome! So I’m slowly beginning to catch up with the episodes. This is the fourth fic in the ‘She’s…’ series. I was always curious as to why Leena was not only nowhere to be seen, but Artie was at the B&B when he had no reason to be… So I filled in the blanks. Features a very fatherly Artie.
Pairing: Cleena, mention of Bering and Wells.

When you worked for the Warehouse, you were bound to have off days. What Claudia couldn’t figure out was why she was having a bad week. The concern she felt about her own wellbeing caused her to be distracted. Or at least it meant that she was not quite herself. For her own sake, Claudia had decided to be strictly business on this mission so they could snag and bag reasonably quickly. Her thoughts drifted to Leena again as Hugo waffled on and on about the marbles, and she shook her head to clear herself of them. Leena. At home. Waiting. She rolled her eyes at the taunting voice and zoned in on the conversation again, crossing her legs and sitting up straight. This was going to take more than a day, she just knew it.

britpup asked: Another fic idea popped into my head and won't let me go eat my tea until I've sent it LOL A brush with an artefact causes Claudia to forget all her knowledge of computers and Leena steps in to save the day, surprising everyone with her skills and proving how much attention she's been paying Claudia all this time.
Yes, yes… this will be a fic. Excuse my while I die in a hole.
A/N & Spoilers: Takes place after 4.02 so spoilers for that. Also carries on from ‘She’s Gone’
I’m probably going to make this into a series. There’ll be a new Cleena fic after every ep and I’ll try to keep it as canon as I can. Hope you enjoy!

As her job involved catering for people’s comfort, Leena’s hearing had become almost superhuman over the years. One minute she could be in the deepest of slumbers, the next, her eyes would be wide and she’d be staring at the door.
Which was exactly what she was doing now. The gentle scraping and shuffling of feet outside caused her to shift, and though she kept her eyes closed to protect herself from the change in light, she smiled gently at the almost silent knock.

“Here,” Claudia waved the piece of paper in front of Leena’s face and indulgently watched the innkeeper’s eyes cross slightly. It was adorable, the fact that it happened every time and the fact that she’d never tire doing it.
“What’s this?” Leena frowned, taking in the scribbled writing on post-it note and not understanding a word it said.
Claudia was offended enough to roll her eyes. Her writing wasn’t the best but it wasn’t as bad as Leena made it out to be. “You, me… dinner at 8.”
“We’re going to dinner?” Leena smiled hopefully.
Claudia grinned back and nodded, placing both forearms on Leena’s shoulders. “Pete’s way of thanking us for getting us out of 2D mode and for putting us through cardboard hell in the first place.” She reached up and traced one of the paper cuts across Leena’s cheek with a thumb. “That was close.”
“It was,” Leena said grudgingly. “But we’ve been through worse scrapes before, huh?”
At that, Claudia grinned. “That we have,” she whispered and stepped even closer, her breath soon upon the older woman’s lips. “But paper cuts really suck.” she reasoned with a smirk.
Leena grinned bashfully and pecked at the lips so close to her own, wrapping her arms around the agent’s sturdy shoulders. “Okay… dinner.” she said as she pulled away. “I like the sound of that.”
“Yeah?” Claudia smiled, fingers padding along the bountiful flesh at Leena’s hips. “Okay good… Get ready to get sticky.” She said, biting her lip to stop herself from laughing as she broke away and began to walk towards the innings of the Warehouse.
“Sticky?” Leena swallowed thickly. “What do you mean sticky?” she asked with a squeak.
“Saucy Joe’s.” The other woman chirped.
“I’m sorry?” Now the innkeeper was truly crossing her eyes in confusion.
“New ribs joint in town, remember?” Claudia grinned, leaning on the door casually. “Apparently the Acapulco sauce is to die for,” she said, sounding suspiciously like a character from Ugly Betty.
“Ribs?” Leena’s mouth moved slowly.
“Yep. Meet me there, I’ll see you soon.” Claudia said, and with that the young inventor flounced off with a salacious wink.
Once Leena’s head cleared and she’d stopped gawping at thin air, she blew a frustrated breath at a strand of hair dangling down her face and sat back down at the computer. And while she managed to half-heartedly focus on her work, her heart eagerly awaited the somewhat unorthodox romantic meal with her zany girlfriend. She rolled her eyes and scoffed, unable to keep the smile from her face. Sticky indeed.
I am so sorry how this turned out. Blame the lack of sex for a long time and this is what you have. Also blame the Olympics. Spoilers for For The Team.

Leena had been away for a while, Claudia knew that much. Where she’d been, she had no idea. She just did it every few months - disappearing for a few days to a week. Artie said not to question it, that it was just what she did. And so Claudia was reluctant to admit, as she shivered on the couch with two blankets on top of her, that she missed the woman.

The Vicious Circle
11.06pm. Still no sign. Leena threw her book down on the floor by the bed and turned off the light, rolling over on the mattress until she was at least a tad bit more comfortable. Leena wasn’t a violent person at all, but right now if she so much as glanced at one Claudia Donovan, she’d have her hands around the caretaker’s throat in an instant.

Summary: Leena dabbles in a little bit of warehouse voyeurism. Set some time in Season 4.
Leena knew this wasn’t what she was supposed to be doing. She knew that she would probably be visited by Mrs. Frederic later on in the evening asking her what her new found voyeurism was all about. But for now, she kicked back in her chair and took a sip of her fennel and licorice tea, smiling when the security feed showed Claudia throw Myka on the ground and hold her down. The young woman had become so strong, so confident and brave in the last few months, it was obvious that her sparring sessions with the older agent were helping her rather spectacularly.
Leena watched as Myka smacked at her muscled back to let her go and the two got up from the floor giggling before attacking one another once more.

“Ohhhh wow.” Leena mumbled, chewing on a piece of grass as she watched the hazy clouds above her. “Wow…”
“You’re welcome,” Claudia smirked, pulling on her tank top. “You okay?”
“Hmm?” Leena blinked slowly and turned her head to give Claudia a goofy smile.
“Wow indeed,” Claudia grinned, “two orgasms and you turn dopey. I am so good.” she wrinkled her nose and kissed Leena again, letting the woman taste herself. “She calmed down?”
Leena looked down at herself and pressed her fingers against her tummy, smiling when there was no answering kick. “Out like a light.”
Claudia smiled back then, and shuffled in between her wife’s legs, hovering over her with her arms stretched either side of Leena’s body. Her tummy bumped against Leena‘s larger one and she let out a snort. “All those endorphins,” she wrinkled her nose and pecked at the woman’s lips, gently draping herself over her wife. She felt Leena grin as the woman gripped her face in her hand, rubbing her cheek with her thumb as she kissed her.
After a while, Claudia got up and got changed, revelling in the feeling of the sun rays beating down on her back. She loved the sun. They both did, it seemed. Pete would sometimes sneak up on them and squirt whole bottles of water over their bellies while they bathed in the sun. He didn’t understand how anybody would like and choose to be so hot that you sweat.
Leena moved around on the floor and eventually squirmed, pushing herself up with her hand and grunting in frustration. “You wanna get up? You could have just said,” Claudia rolled her eyes and held out her handing Leena’s hand before easing her up gently.
“Thanks,” Leena grumbled half-heartedly, brushing herself down. She rearranged her clothes with a distant grin. “Hey,” she thought of something. “You getting back in the tree?” she asked, flirting her bottom lip with her teeth.
Claudia shrugged, “Don’t see why not.” She paused and turned to her wife with a glare. “Ohhh,” she rolled her eyes. “I see… lying about the baby just so I would help you let off some steam.” The words were hurtful but the tone wasn’t and Leena giggled, shaking her had.
“You know that’s not true,” she said as they walked out of the field, holding hands.
An hour later, more sun cream applied liberally and with Claudia once more tied to the harness, she got back to work with Helena and the two continued hammering away at bits of wood and metal. And there Leena was, in her favorite chair, sunglasses hanging from her nose and her unborn child either fast asleep or tired out from her earlier work out. Leaning back, she stretched like a cat and let out a hum of sadistic pleasure when her muscles protested and yet thanked her at the same time.
“Well you’re chirpier.” Myka smirked, handing the woman a fresh glass of lemonade.
Leena mirrored the grin and sighed, relaxed. “She’s asleep and my wife is awesome,” she shrugged, a glint in her eye.
“I do not wanna know what she’s ‘awesome’ at.” Myka wrinkled her nose.
“Good,” Leena took a sip of her drink. “’Cause I don’t wanna tell you.” She smiled and leaned back, her expression strengthening when Claudia put her arms in the air and grabbed hold of the thick branch above her head, pulling with all her might until she was another level up.
“Now you really are the perv.” Myka chortled, eyes wide. She loved this side of Leena; a woman who told jokes and bantered with her. Of course, she liked all of Leena’s traits, it was hard not to like them. But she always found herself raising her eyebrows after hearing Leena make a wisecracking statement of some sort, or openly lusting over her wife with that hungry glint in her eye. The fact that she was huge and probably quite uncomfortable made it all the more amusing.

Spoilers for Mild Mannered and Beyond Our Control (set in between).
Yeah so it’s basically more hurt/comfort fluff. I seem to only be able to do angst when I’m in a really bad mood or if it’s a long ass fic. Either way, hope it’s not too far from what you wanted.
oxoxoxoxo
Claudia sauntered through the umbilicus, a wild grin on her face as she entered the office, grabbing a few bottles of coke from her grocery bag. “Howdy,” she grinned to Leena, tottering over until she was sat on the innkeeper’s desk. She frowned at the lack of reply, getting out a sandwich she’d bought for the other woman for lunch. “Hey… Leena?”
“Hmm?” The darker woman looked up, bags under her eyes.
“Earth to Leena… Hey, hellooo?” Claudia waved the sandwich in front of her friend’s face. “You okay?”
“Yeah,” Leena blinked, shaking her head to rid herself of the thought that had haunted her for most of the day. “Yeah, I’m good.”
Claudia merely snorted. “Pull the other one, Nixon.” Leena scowled in offense. The younger woman gave one last try of handing over the food, smiling when Leena finally rolled her eyes and took her lunch.

Set straight after 3.06 Don’t Hate The Player. Basically I was doing a bit of a lame rewatch and this just jumped into my head. Hope you enjoy! I will be writing a prequel to this for Scaglicious’s fic prompts (Twenty First Birthday of Claudia Donovan) so I’m kinda working backwards.
Summary: Leena picks Claudia up from the open mic night and they talk about Fargames.
oxoxoxo
She’d told everybody not to come, that she needed to do this by herself. But sure enough, at 9.30pm, Claudia left the open mic night to see Leena in her car, waiting patiently to pick her up. Looking up as she sensed her, Leena waved excitedly with a smile. Claudia practically flung herself into the car, throwing her guitar case into the back. She was buzzing. The innkeeper caught the almost manic look and giggled. “You okay?”

Ohhhh your flattery is much appreciated, dear Anon. I hope you like this. Seriously, I have been pretty low about writing at the moment so thank you.

Spilled milk and crushed eggs were the first thing she saw. Then things went blank for a little while and darkness clouded her vision. Two minutes later, Claudia opened her eyes again and fought the intense urge to go back to sleep, or just close her eyes and just leave for a bit. That thought led to another and she finally realized that if she did, she probably wouldn’t come back. It took another few moments to realize that her arm really, really hurt. When the cloudiness cleared, she remembered that she wasn’t alone, that she had just been shopping with Leena, and that they hadn’t seen the car coming. Scrambling, the redhead unbuckled her belt and took a look at her friend. Her stomach dropped. Leena was slackly lying over the dashboard, almost certainly unconscious and a stream of blood trickling down her forehead.

It was just like any other lunch date. No matter what they were doing (unless pings got in the way), Leena and Myka would make sure to catch up every Wednesday. Usually it involved going to the diner, sometimes they would drive out somewhere and try someplace new. Today, Leena was suffering from allergies, Myka couldn’t be bothered to move and so they had set out a cold meat/ cheese spread on the dining table, a glass of wine each and the two women tucked in. Myka loved Wednesday especially. Growing up, she was never one for sleepovers; she had always been either too shy, too busy with homework, or sometimes it was just the notion that nobody had ever invited her. Having a friend who wasn’t shy on the gossiping was actually kinda fun, and the lunches she and Leena had made her feel more womanly, even though that of course was completely ridiculous because having girlfriends and gossiping hours was entirely stereotypical and quite misogynistic and she really didn’t believe that that was how your gender was dictated to you….
Myka trailed off from her irate thought and looked up at her friend who was distractedly mopping up some of her homemade hummus with some bread. Leena held her head in her hand and was biting her lip for some reason.
